Digital Art Club

...for Curious Minds

Fortitude Academy’s Digital Arts Club gives children the opportunity to explore creativity through images, sound, animation, photography, design and digital storytelling. Designed for children aged 8 to 11, the club combines practical projects with creative challenges, helping children develop confidence, communication skills and digital creativity in a fun and supportive environment.

Across the year, children move through a range of creative projects including poster design, radio plays, short videos, animation, photography and creating their own digital magazine.

By the end of the year, children will have explored different ways of creating and sharing ideas using digital tools, while building confidence in presenting, planning and working together.

What they’ll explore:
Digital Design & Visual Storytelling – Create posters, collages, memes and combine images with text to communicate ideas.

Audio Recording & Radio Production – Take part in a radio play while practising speaking clearly, script reading and audio editing.

Video & Animation – Explore short video creation, camera confidence, storyboarding and animation projects.

Digital Photography – Learn about composition, light, framing and photographing people and objects indoors and outdoors.

Creative Publishing – Work together to create a digital magazine using artwork, photography and written content.

Pricing
The club is invoiced per term, with the exact total depending on your school’s schedule. Sessions cost £7 per hour, and each session lasts 2 hours.

Times & Pick-up
Start and finish times vary by school. Children come directly from class, and pick-up is at the school’s usual collection point. Exact timings and arrangements will be confirmed in your place confirmation email.

Group Size & Supervision
We keep groups small, no more than 12 children per session to support collaboration, discussion, and individual guidance. This allows every child to take part fully in both creative and practical activities.

What to Bring

All equipment needed for activities is provided. Children do not need to bring anything with them.

Food & Refreshments
All children are provided with snacks and drinks during the session, including bagels, cheese and ham, juice, biscuits, and fresh fruit. From time to time, we jazz it up and let kids try new flavours and ingredients, too.

Places are booked through the link below. Our terms and conditions are included in the registration form, and a copy is automatically emailed upon completion.
